Speedbumps? G, for me it was like "speedspikes..." laid a slick little trap at night... at the height of the ride when everything I thought was all right, pulled some shit that makes a nigga wanna (fight).... threw a speedbump when you was tryin' to speedball, go ahead with ya bad self because it's all good - for the karma, for the honor, for your mama, for the house, for the wife, for the change-the-baby drama. But I still love you, and I'm understanding better, I'll never be clever enough to put some hella cheddar before dreams, my love (after) material things, in search of what "the good life" means. It's a tough recovery but I'll be fine, and for a lack of hope in hard time I pray you stay blind... so do your thing and I'll do mine and in time we'll sit back and all laugh. Ha.
